Tummy Tuck - Standard Before & After Photos

This 26 year old woman from the Mount Vernon region of Texas presented to my Dallas area medical practice with concerns regarding her stomach as well as fullness in her neck. She had delivered 3 children (all by C-section), and had been unhappy with the appearance of her abdomen since. She was bothered by fullness in the upper and lower abdomen, and the “hanging over” of skin caused by the C-section scar. I felt she was a perfect candidate for an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) procedure, and we could address her neck concerns with liposuction at the same time (she had very healthy, youthful skin, and isolated fat deposits in the neck.)

In the operating room, I designed the abdominoplasty incision such that the scar would be low and easily hidden in swimwear. I removed a significant amount of skin, getting rid of the majority of her stretch marks. I tightened the abdominal musculature to flatten the stomach, as well as pull-in her flanks to accentuate her hour-glass figure. Liposuction of the neck was also performed.

The patient recovered very well after surgery and was extremely happy with her new tummy!
