Breast Lift (Mastopexy), Breast Reduction Before & After Photos

This patient is a 21 year old woman who had always desired smaller breasts. She was very self conscious regarding the size and shape of her breasts, and they interfered with her ability to participate in sports or exercise. She wanted breasts that were smaller and “perkier.” Based on her wishes, she was an excellent candidate for breast reduction surgery.

I performed her breast reduction surgery with a Wise pattern (anchor scar), using a super-medial pedicle. The anchor scar technique was necessary to remove the significant amount of excess skin. I removed 350 grams from the left, and 400 grams from the right to correct a mild volume asymmetry. With the super-medial technique for breast reduction, her nipples were reduced in size (but left fully connected to the breasts), and she achieved a significant breast lift. She recovered nicely after surgery, and was ecstatic about her new look! Photos were taken 3 months after surgery.
