Rhinoplasty Before & After Photos

This 22 year old woman came to my Southlake office interested in a refinement rhinoplasty. She had always been bothered by a small hump on her nose, which was most notable on the oblique view. She wanted this area addressed at the same time as another body contouring procedure.

On examination, I could clearly see the region that bothered her when looking at her face at an angle, but also noted this on frontal view. In examining her photographs, you can see how the width of the bony dorsum creates breaks in her nasal dorsal aesthetic lines, making the shadows appear as an hourglass between the bony dorsum and nasal tip. As her nasal tip was well proportioned and defined, which made her an excellent candidate for the closed rhinoplasty approach to address her slight dorsal excess.

The combined surgery proceeded very smoothly, and she had an uneventful recovery. The postoperative photographs are shown at 6 months, still with slight edema, but overall showing the very nice changes we achieved. She now has smooth contours to her aesthetic lines, and the slight hump is gently reduced on the profile and oblique views.
